Nichebox was founded in 1999 as an Internet consulting firm dedicated to helping small and medium-sized businesses realize the advantages of database driven web applications.
We have since expanded our focus to include development of custom software solutions for the Internet and GIS industries.
We are a privately owned and family run business with a wide range of Internet and application specific development expertise.

With over 20 years of combined experience developing Internet applications, the team at Nichebox brings precise, well-rounded knowledge to any development project.
We have participated in the development of GIS map servers, Intranets, accounting systems, shopping carts, mass-hosting management interfaces, DNS server front ends and streaming media services to name a few things.

Rate Schedule and Billing Policies
Translation Services
Since our servers support multiple languages, in developing client projects we've added translation services to our in-house capabilities.
Whether for your web-based application or some other final use let us quote your translation jobs to give you an idea of how painless this process can be.
Rates are $35/hr for actual translation time, web-based applications are available as add-on for your site following our normal programming schedule.
Our current capabilities are English to: Japanese, French, Spanish, Romanian, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, and back. We're hoping to add Russian soon.
An often overlooked but very important service is proof-reading. For example, if you have a Japanese site, which your in-house staff translates to English, we're happy to review for true fluency and proper spelling and word usage.
Our translators are all college-graduates with fluency in spoken and written word in their respective specialty.

Updated by many different committee members, this site utilizes PHP with MySQL and a multi-tiered private administrative portion to maintain donation information, broadcast emails to interested readers, and help keep committee members on track.
